ABOUT US

 Dr. Hilda Hattar's passion for helping people since she was a young girl had sparked her to become a doctor.  But it wasn’t until she met her high school physiology teacher, Mrs. Sheila Emmett, that she knew she would become a chiropractic physician. 

"As a girl, I used to accompany my grandmother to her doctor's appointments as her translator.  All that I ever witnessed was my grandmother getting more and more prescription drugs for her ailments.  So when Mrs. Emmett took me to one of her chiropractic appointments and I saw how they treated her with acupuncture and chiropractic adjustments, I was determined that I had found my calling."

"I love working with people to help them get well and my patient's see that in me! There is a satisfaction from seeing my patients get well and I enjoy every bit of it."

Jamie Smith has worked in the medical field for the past 6 years. While going to school for massage therapy she worked as a CNA at a nursing home and hospital.  Jamie graduated from Kishwaukee College, Massage Therapy program in September of 2008. Jamie is a certified and licensed Massage Therapist and also part of the AMTA and NCBTMB.  Jamie has always had a passion for being able to help others and working in the medical field as a massage therapist has helped her accomplish her goal.
Kayleen Anderson started her medical career as an operating room nurse for 17 years.
She then decided to change careers and went back to college and received a 2 year degree in business.  Kayleen then worked with an environmental company until the company was sold and down sized.  She has been with Dr. Hilda Hattar since 2006 as office receptionist.  Kayleen enjoys working in the medical field again.  Please call Kayleen to schedule appointments and with any questions that you may have regarding our office.
